CUREs (Course-based Undergraduate Research Experiences) are authentic research activities that occur as part of courses and provide students with real-world research experiences. Multi-Site Collaborative CUREs provide additional opportunities for students to collaborate and interact with students across institutions within Southern California and should help facilitate landscape-scale results and provide regionally relevant data.
We aim to support the development of five collaborative CURE projects that involve multiple institutions within the region that aim to explore a novel ecological question within courses beginning in the 2022-23 academic year and ending in the 2026-27 academic year.
